clarity over chaos

Why scrum rituals collapse into noise the moment teams stop asking what the work is actually for. A short meditation on cadence, intent, and the quiet discipline of saying less.

Scrum was supposed to bring rhythm. Instead most teams inherit a calendar full of ceremonies and a backlog full of opinions.

Clarity is not a meeting. It is the willingness to cut the work down to the one sentence that survives a Monday.

When we replaced our standup with a single written paragraph each morning, three things happened: people read more carefully, they wrote more honestly, and the work moved.

Cadence is a tool. Intent is the craft.
